"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9
When asked how our season has been this year, we answer...both wonderful and hard. Perseverance is a word that's been part of many conversations around the farm lately. Our loyal customers and supporters are the best part of this journey and we are encouraged DAILY by your thoughtful words, kind hearts, and unwavering support in so many ways.
On the other hand, it's of no surprise that flower farming is time consuming, quite labor intensive, and expensive to farm on our scale of not too big yet not too small. Despite that, our mission is, and always will be, to plant seeds and to be a blessing in our community, not just to make a living off of flowers and pumpkins. We're thankful that God has provided Todd with a different full time job that takes care of that. We do pray however, that our farming efforts would produce enough to sustain the farm from year to year so that we can continue on with our mission that we believe God has laid on our hearts. We've absolutely loved creating this refuge and sharing what it produces with all of you.
Would you pray with us as we look ahead to another season? For wisdom to know which avenues to pursue and which ideas to let go of in order to make this journey sustainable for our family to continue on with. We're eager to persevere and excited to see how the Lord will carry us along! If we haven't reminded you lately, we are so grateful that we're not alone on this journey and we want to thank you so very much for walking it with us :)
